How Can a Negative Digital Footprint Affect You
How can a digital footprint even possibly affect my future? It doesn't seem that important.
How a digital footprint can pose a threat to my reputation and why it is significant.

A poor active digital footprint can very well affect your personal reputation, brand, future, and countless more. Because an active digital footprint is accessible to the public, employers, universities, programs, and countless more will use this resource to formulate a portfolio of the type of person you are, whether good or bad. A faulty digital footprint, as a result, can lead to some pressing repercussions, liked a missed job opportunity, broken relationships, and even being expelled by your university.
Within most of the education and career departments in society, an employer or college admission official is constantly looking for reasons to NOT hire somebody. In fact, 48% of employers will search the internet for footprints before hiring the candidate. A positive digital footprint is valued so extremely that any other qualities can possibly be neglected if an offensive or inappropriate footprint is found.
